Giant ball valves worth 110 million CZK

Two giant Vexve Armatury® ball valves will be installed in compressor stations and gas pipelines in the Czech Republic.

Vexve won two significant orders for the delivery of giant Vexve Armatury ball valves. These valves are typically used in gas distribution networks and compressor stations of gas companies.

Two large-sized ball valves will be installed in compressor stations and gas lines in the Czech Republic, with another dozen of products exported to the markets of the Commonwealth of Independent States. The total value of the orders for giant ball valves is approximately CZK 110 million.

Each of the giant ball valves weighs approximately 28 tonnes. The valves will be operated at the gas transfer station at Rozvadov and the junction point at Strážovice near Písek, for instance. The first deliveries have already been made to the Czech buyer NET4GAS.

According to Petr Groh, the giant ball valves will be delivered in nominal sizes DN 1400, with many ball valves in smaller sizes destined for the Commonwealth of Independent States, the former states of the Soviet Union. They will be used for natural gas transportation.
